Sandra Fluke stops in Delco

Two well known advocates — Sarah Weddington and Sandra Fluke — spoke about the importance of women’s reproductive rights during a Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania event Thursday afternoon in Radnor.

Fluke, a Pennsylvania native, received national recognition when she testified before the House Democratic Steering and Policy Committee on the need to provide access to contraception.

Her testimony was lambasted by conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh.
Weddington successfully argued Roe v. Wade before the U.S. Supreme Court in 1973.

You can read more about it here.
