Delco goes for another Dem prez
Tuesday’s election marked the sixth consecutive election that the majority of votes in Delaware County went toward the Democratic nominee for president.
Democratic incumbent President Barack Obama received 164,805, or 60.4 percent, of votes in the county, and Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney received 105,270 votes, or 38.6 percent, according to unofficial election results posted to the Pennsylvania Department of State website Wednesday.
Delco has gone for a Democratic president since 1992.
