Rep. Vitali blasts cuts to environmental programs
In case you missed it, state Rep. Greg Vitali, D-166, of Haverford, voiced concerns to environmental programs during a news conference earlier this week.
In particular, Vitali and leaders of environmental nonprofit organizations and businesses focused on four areas, including funding reductions to the state Department of Environmental Protection.
They also voiced concerns about diversion of Keystone Fund money from the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources to the General Fund, elimination of a dedicated funding source for the Farmland Preservation Program, and elimination of funding for Alternative Fuels Incentive Grants.
