State Rep. Margo Davidson, D-164, of Upper Darby, will be hosting a Community Empowerment Day Saturday at the 2nd Ward playground, located off Crosley Avenue. The event will allow residents and community leaders an opportunity to discuss ways to shape the quality of life of their neighborhoods, according to Davidson’s staff.

The event is part of the Great American Cleanup of Pennsylvania, which donated gloves and trash bags for this effort, according to Davidson. It will take place from 10:30 a.m.-noon Saturday.
